Creating a teaching and learning environment that is embedded in and reflects The First Peoples Principals of Learning is very important to me and my teaching practice. These principals take into account the First Peoples knowledge and perspective and can be implemented into almost every lesson and unit. This is a great way to Indigenize and allow for Indigenous representation within the classroom.
This poster explains all of the First Peoples Principles of Learning and will be posted within my classroom. I want to educated my student on the meaning of each principle and point out how we use these principles in our everyday lives.
